Created for the celebration of the Canberra Centenary, "Where's my Mummy" features a unique colourful creature who meets a few interesting Canberra locals whilst searching for her Mummy. The age group for the book is infants; for parents to read the simple story to their children who enjoy the fun characters.
I chose to illustrate the story in plasticine and added some real flowers. Having made another children's book of plasticine in 2011 I knew how fun and colourful the soft material is, and the effect the shine and shadows create; making engaging images for children's imaginations.
