Hannah Antonsen is a fiber artist based in Canmore AB in the Canadian Rockies. Her work explores landscapes threatened by climate change and the parallels between environmental harm and the disabled experience, through shared themes of pain, loss, grief, adaptation and resiliency.
Through her three-dimensional and highly-sensory art, she hopes to connect viewers to the natural world and inspire deeper understanding of ourselves, others and our place within the natural order. Thereby building a more harmonious and inclusive community, and finding pathways to live in harmony with the land.
